Bally products are used for many types of aerospace applications, including military, space, and commercial aviation.

Bally Ribbon Mills is an innovative designer, producer, and supplier of advanced, complex woven webbing used for production of many types of aerospace products including both military, space, and commercial.

Examples of the products we produce to support the aerospace industry include:
  • Parachutes (military, sport, and space)
  • Component parts of safety systems
  • Flight suits
  • Seat belts
  • Seat construction
  • Cargo netting reinforcement tapes
  • Crew safety system components

We understand the key performance characteristics that lead to successful aerospace products, and how to design woven goods to achieve that success. Our ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100D certifications and ability to fulfill Berry Amendment requirements lets you buy with confidence that your finished product will meet possible regulatory requirements.

For example, using enhanced weaving technologies and materials woven from high strength fibers like Kevlar®, Technora®, and Vectran®, Bally can provide robust advanced materials optimized for low pack volume and high energy absorption. This is key to the successful design of advanced launch and recovery decelerator webbing in space rocket launch vehicles and capsule recovery programs. Bally also produces light-weight, high performance materials, and structural preforms woven in 3-D, T, X, and Pi shapes designed for military aerospace, lighter-than-air inflatable airships, surveillance aerostats, and NASA directed commercial sector space vehicles (COTS).
